This application must be completed by all Western students participating in University sanctioned international experiences for which a program application has not already been submitted in Atlas.

Western students may participate in international experiences beyond the programs listed in Atlas such as:

• Practicums, clinical or field placements
• Internships
• Research
• Joint Academic Programs/Dual Degrees
• Letter of Permission (for non Exchange or Study Abroad programs)
• Ivey Business School Programs
• Conferences
• Other international activities

As per Western's Safety Abroad Policy, all Western students participating in university sanctioned international activities are required to enrol in Western's International Travel Registry.

If you are participating in an international activity that has been approved, authorized, and/or supported by a Western University unit, department, staff and/or faculty member, please complete this form to begin the Travel Registry process.

Once your initial travel details have been entered and submitted within the form, your information will be reviewed by the Safety Abroad Coordinator in Western International. You may proceed with completing the Travel Registry. 

If the information submitted does not satisfy Safety Abroad protocols (e.g. travel to high risk destination): You will be notified if further details are required.

To continue to work on your Travel Registry after you log out of Atlas, please log back into your Atlas account through its homepage and locate your incomplete application. Please do not start a new application. 

NOTE: if you submitted an application for an international experience on Atlas, you are not required to complete this additional form as the Travel Registry will be connected to your international experience application once you are approved for the respective experience.
