Western University is proud to partner with Absolute Internship.

Absolute Internship works with top companies to provide students the opportunity to develop both their personal and professional skillset and inspire them to follow their passions in a virtual internship environment. The virtual internship program allows participants to step out of their comfort zone, gain insight into their industry of interest, meet industry leaders and build their professional network. The program is frequently featured as an industry leader in the highest rated media outlets such as New York Times, BBC, Bloomberg, Reuters and Sky News.

A virtual internship is a project-based internship experience that can be done from a remote location, without the need to be physically present at the office during business hours. You'll be completing your work without a commute and directly from your own laptop!

Virtual internships will allow you to market yourself to future employers, prove your worth remotely at no travel cost, and kick-start an international career from anywhere.

When completing a virtual internship program, many of the same aspects of an in-person internship will remain, including meetings with your supervisor and teammates, mentoring, virtual career speakers and career development workshops, growing your network and realize your potential.

  6. Acceptance letters are sent out 2-3 days after the interview via email, formally inviting the student to join the program and detailing how to confirm their spot.
  7. Upon confirmation, the student provides a deposit within one week of receiving the acceptance letter. The balance is due one month after payment of the deposit or a minimum of 6 weeks before the student departure date, whichever is sooner.
